Municipality of Szeged
Municipality of Szeged is the local government of one of the hottest cities in the country. The Development Office of the local government fulfils the project management tasks regarding to all European Union and Hungarian State financed projects of the municipality. Municipality of Szeged has a long time experience and practice to implement low-carbon emission building and urban public transport infrastructure developments. In the past few years many climate conscious developments were done in Szeged. Municipality of Szeged also holds a strong dissemination ability with a wide outreach to its own citizens and good nation-wide visibility. Project actions will be promoted through the municipality’s media. The Szeged Mayor's Office is responsible for disseminating information and informing the local newspaper, organizing possible public awareness events, and the investment administrator and personnel manager are responsible for opening the advisory office. In case of opening a municipal advisory office, the person working there is responsible for providing up-to-date information on available public resources and tenders, for describing modernization investments, and possibly for recommending local experts and companies.

SZKHT
SZKHT carries out the daily maintenance of the public areas of the city of Szeged (park maintenance, tree cutting, public cleaning, maintenance of public facilities, maintenance of pavements, etc.), as well as the planting of trees and flowers in the city. Since 1 September 2001, Szeged Environmental Management Ltd. has operated with two internal accounting units. The purpose of the separation of tasks was that the Waste Management Division was to provide the municipal waste collection service and the operation of the related sites (central landfill, waste yards, transport conditions, etc.), while the Public Space Maintenance Division was to take care of all other public space maintenance tasks entrusted to the company by the municipality. The Municipality of the City of Szeged established the company with the aim of preserving the unique assets of the City of Szeged, maintaining, protecting and keeping clean public spaces and parks, and preventing and eliminating environmental pollution caused by waste.

IKV
IKV is responsible for the utilisation of the real estate owned by the Municipality of Szeged, its tasks include the full range of tasks related to the utilisation. In addition to the above, it performs condominium management activities. It has information on the real estate portfolio under management, and the colleagues involved in the project have expertise and experience in the field of real estate exploitation and condominium management. The company participated in a project funded by the European Union's Urban Innovation Action programme, "SASMob: Smart Together for Sustainable Transport", which was launched in February 2018.

Szeged Transport Company
The Szeged Transport Company is responsible for the maintenance and development of electric public transport in Szeged, the service and support of urban micromobility, the operation of the urban parking system. Although the Szeged Transport Company primarily performs infrastructure and vehicle operation tasks, it also carries out development tasks in addition to daily maintenance and servicing tasks. So, in addition to having the right organisational structure to carry out operational tasks, our company also has significant project management experience. The main activity of Szegedi Közlekedési Társaság is currently the operation of electric rail transport in Szeged. Its tasks also include the operation of Szeged Airport, the public pay parking system, vehicle recovery and transport, and the car park. In addition, since 2021, the company has also been supporting the service of urban micromobility by performing operational tasks

CSEMETE Natural Conservation and Environmental Association
The CSEMETE Association was founded in 1987 and currently has 426 individual members. Its four main areas of activity are environmental education and training programmes, active nature conservation, environmental actions and civil advocacy and civil monitoring. They are active in local, regional, national and cross-border programmes. Its main membership is made up of teachers and students, but it's professionals are active in a wide range of scientific fields. They work in 15 departments, with sustainability and climate change as current priorities. The Association is based in the field at the Bugaci Education Centre and coordinates its projects at the Szeged Residential Environmental Counselling Office, where it also runs a Green Library. It runs around 50-70 projects in parallel each year, from large-scale EU programmes to smaller local events. Its main partners are national green umbrella organisations and local green NGOs, local municipalities, the University of Szeged, the scientific workshop of the Ferenc Móra Museum, the Szeged Nature Garden, the Szeged Wildlife Park, the Kiskunság and Körös-Maros National Park Directorates, and the Association of Hungarian Teachers in Romania.

Motivation Educational Association
The Motiváció Oktatási Egyesület has been working in Szeged for more than ten years, during which time it has developed into a stable and strong civil community. Their core activity is the operation of their training centres in Szeged and in Balástya, a village near Szeged. The centres are attended by 30-30 socially disadvantaged young people from poor families to provide complex personal and competence development for the young people. For many years now, their programmes have included the development of various tools, mainly in the form of board games. They currently have six board games developed in-house, some of which are educational aids, making the theme of fair and equal education consumable and easy to work with. The other part of the games are community development games about Szeged and the people of Szeged. In the area of tool development, they also focus on climate change. The Hungarian translation of the internationally recognised and used Climate Fresco and the dissemination of its use in Hungary is linked to the association. It provides an interactive way to learn about the scientific basis of climate change and an excellent entry point for developing individual and systemic solutions.

SZTE
The University of Szeged is a prestigious higher education institution in Hungary with rich traditions. The institution has approximately 24,000 students. In the Cool Life project, the University of Szeged provides the scientific background with its experts and researchers. The project involves the Department of Climatology and Landscape Ecology, whose research work is closely linked to education. Its current diverse profile includes urban climatology, human bioclimatology, tourism climatology, landscape ecology, and ecosystem services.
